Handphone Tragedy?

My friend needs to buy a new handphone. He can't reply to SMSes.

He says that he now has to call people in order to reply to their SMS.

That got me thinking. When was the last time I had a decent conversation with someone over the phone? A conversation that lasts more than 20 minutes?

Are we becoming less communicative because of handphones and email??
