Big Brother is Watching

So I read in the paper that LTA may put CCTV cameras on all of the buses. It's a pretty expensive solution to getting people to behave better on buses.

Are people really going to give up their seats to pregnant ladies and the elderly just because there are a few CCTV cameras on board? I wonder....

This country is interesting. You never know when you are being watched.

Yep, install CCTV and shit like that, then tell everyone that costs rackingup. Another excellent for them to hike the fares again.

Do you feel like you are being watched all the time? Are there cameras at most junctions? I know you ride a bike, so maybe you know where all the cameras are located.

That depends on what kind of cameras, some of them are for traffic reports and some speed traps.

Do you find yourself looking around to see if there are any cameras when you are riding?

nope, 'cause if I do, I might end up crashing my arse off a whole lot more frequent. Gotta pay attention to what's coming up ahead.

But then again, do you mean on, or off road?

I meant when you are getting towards a junction, do you look around for cameras?

Do you still recommend getting a bike? Just for getting around and a little bit of exploring?

Yes, red light cameras but then again, I hardly blow through traffic lights so it's not that big a problem.

A bike for you? Of course I do. Things ain't all that horrid, everything will be fine.

    Hey Unreal,

Thanks for the encouragement. But I keep seeing motorcyle accidents everywhere. Some of them look pretty nasty. I have a friend who is a doctor and he says people die on their bikes all the time....

Get my license and then decide? Where? How long? How much?
