ipods addicts

Does anyone think that ipods are making people less sociable and even rude? I know several people who are ipod addicts. They are always plugged in during their free time. They will probably have hearing problems in the future if they aren't careful.

I hate it when say hello to ipoders and they don't bother to give a verbal reply. Just a nod of their head. Who do they think they are? Don't they have the common courtesy of unplugging themselves for two seconds to give a proper greeting?
