Christmas lights

The Christmas decorations have been up on Orchard Rd since October! Let the excessive spending begin. I heard Christmas music everywhere the other day. So early!

Glad my family is not big on buying gifts.

And I've never been a fan of Christmas. It's just so overrated.

That's because it's all about shopping these days. People have forgotten the real meaning of Christmas and what we are supposed to be celebrating.

Yeah, I know. That's why I have been thinking about where else do I want to live.

Already lived there. Was in Tokyo. It's very happening. Lots of things to see and do. Also, you can still see the countryside just by jumping on a train. But very expensive to live there.

That's why I've always wanted to be in the countryside. It's not about peace and quietness, it's more about money. I've always wanted to learn their old culture as well and the countryside seems to be a better place. So you know some japanese?

Hai! Watashiwa Tokyo de tsundeimashita. Crap. I can't write Japanese using English characters.

I studied the basics before I went there and then studied some more when I lived there.

    Omojiroi deshita. Was interesting.

Very happening place. But noisy and busy. Not multicultural at all. Very fashionable and trendy. Fads come and go so quickly

Ah, that's nice, I'll be starting classes in February though, or is it March, I forgot. But do you know that Mac OS can type in any language yyou choose? Without additional software..... I can only do that for my name in both katakana and hiragana for now....

Really? I haven't tried typing in another language. I have MS Office on my laptop. Why are you learning Japanese?

I used to really like studying it, but I forgot a lot of vocabulary and my ganji sucks.

Actually, when I was little, I've always wanted to know japanese 'cause of the amount of anime I watch. And when I got older, the original culture of the Japanese made me wanted to do it even more, but alas, I didn't nothing...
