Christmas lights

The Christmas decorations have been up on Orchard Rd since October! Let the excessive spending begin. I heard Christmas music everywhere the other day. So early!

Glad my family is not big on buying gifts.

That's because it's all about shopping these days. People have forgotten the real meaning of Christmas and what we are supposed to be celebrating.

Yeah, I know. That's why I have been thinking about where else do I want to live.

Already lived there. Was in Tokyo. It's very happening. Lots of things to see and do. Also, you can still see the countryside just by jumping on a train. But very expensive to live there.

Hai! Watashiwa Tokyo de tsundeimashita. Crap. I can't write Japanese using English characters.

I studied the basics before I went there and then studied some more when I lived there.

    Omojiroi deshita. Was interesting.

Very happening place. But noisy and busy. Not multicultural at all. Very fashionable and trendy. Fads come and go so quickly

Really? I haven't tried typing in another language. I have MS Office on my laptop. Why are you learning Japanese?

I used to really like studying it, but I forgot a lot of vocabulary and my ganji sucks.
