People who can't dress

I have to say that despite all of the shopping and fashionistas around, I have seen tons of really bad dressers. I think it's because people only buy what they like or is trendy and not what looks good on them. They should know their bodies and what looks good on them.

I feel like going up to some people and telling them, "That doesn't suit you at all. Try blah blah blah instead!"

Also, I hate those flip flops. I don't care if they are comfortable or what, they don't look good. Unless you are going to the beach, don't wear them. They don't look good!

Also, if you aren't in shape, then you should avoid certain items of clothing like tight t-shirts or short skirts.

Would like to give some of my friends wardrobe makeovers! Some of my male friends wear plaid shirts all the time which look awful. Hope they don't read this....actually, maybe they should.

I helped a male friend buy two tshirts the other day! Nothing trendy. He's conservative. Just a solid blue short sleeved tshirt and a long sleved black tshirt. Zara men,

They don't have any logos or anything on them at all. But it's an improvement from before. I don't think he has any casual clothes. He's always working, so I only see him in dress shirts.

Why the shock? Was it because you always wear tshirts and jeans? If you don't work in an office and bike everywhere, then it makes sense to not dress up and get all messed up. However, one should dress up when there a special event like a wedding, job interview, or date. Or at least look well groomed and wear clothes that are presentable and look good. Doesn't have to be a suit and tie.

That's because no one dresses up properly for wedding here. I have seen people in polo shirts, short-sleeved shirts, and jeans at weddings. I think that's terrible.

If I ever get married here, which is not likely, I am putting the dress code on the invitations. Something like "Formal wear only."

Or maybe I need to be more specific like "Black tie only."

Or maybe even more specific for the really dense people and slobs like "Suits with neckties for men and dresses for women."

Black tie means shirt and tie for guys. In N. America, it would mean a suit too. It looks better for photos. To be honest, I think the guests should make an effort to look good. No freaking polo shirts, shorts, tshirts or jeans.
